  • Coiled tungsten filament; sealed porcelain end caps; halogen gas filled.
  • Color temperature emitted: approx. 4100° F (high brightness).
  • Approximately 96% radiant efficiency.
  • Excellent resistance to thermal shock.

QUARTZ TUBES
  • 5/8" Diameter frosted quartz envelope.
  • Nickel-chrome alloy coiled element with porcelain end caps and pigtailed termination.
  • Color temperature emitted: approx. 1800° F (bright orange glow).
  • Approximately 60% radiant efficiency.
  • Fast heat-up/cool-down.
  • Moisture resistance: High.
  • Mechanical ruggedness: Good.

METAL SHEATH ELEMENTS
  • 0.430" Diameter Incoloy metal sheath envelope.
  • Nickel-chromium alloy coiled element imbedded in Magnesium Oxide insulating powder.
  • Color temperature emitted: approx. 1600° F (dull orange glow).
  • Approximately 50% radiant efficiency.
  • Slowest heat-up/cool-down.
  • Moisture resistance: Lowest.
  • Mechanical ruggedness: Highest.
